lovely gift or stocking filler.

The Concealer That Everyone Loves, But Is Amazing
Hey everyone. Today I thought I’d do a little chatty review
on a product that I love and rely on so much, but not one I really talk about
very much. Concealer is a life saver, right? If you’re from the UK and watch/
read any blogs/ videos then you’ve probably heard of this concealer, but this
is why I think it’s great.

Flowers In The Bath?
Hey everyone. So regular readers will already be aware, but
I am a huge lover of baths. I bath all year round, but when it gets a little
colder and hits autumn/ winter it is bath season. I was also very lucky to receive
a few bathing bits for my birthday, which I have been trailing and tested. So
today I thought I let you know about a new set of products I’ve been really
liking: Heathcote & Ivory Bath Petals.

A Review On My Autumn Essential Primark Bag

My Autumn Foundation
Hey everyone. If you’ve ever read one of my tutorials or
makeup bags, you’ll now I barely ever, if not never, wear foundation. For me, I
have quite decent skin so never felt I needed it. However, recently I walked
into Boots and just thought this product sounded this. So I bought it, tried it
out, and now that flawless skin is mine, is a tube.

We All Looked Up - Book Review
Hey everyone. As my computer is still failing me, posts are coming when I can get them to you. However, today I have a post- a book review of 'We All Looked Up' by Tommy Wallach. So I LOVED this book, plain-and-simply I couldn't put it down. And when reading a book, what more can you want?

When New Look Does Lipstick...
Hey everyone. When you’re a teenager, the last thing you
really want to do is spend loads and loads of money on makeup. For some girls,
this is their dream and high-end makeup is their first stop, but for the rest
of us, getting a good bargain is always a success. There are lots of options at
the drugstore, but now a lot of fashion stores have released their own makeup
ranges too. When New Look launched its new beauty section ‘Pure Colour’, I was intrigued…
so I thought I’d test out a few products. Therefore, today I am reviewing the
New Look lipsticks.

discovered my new favourite budget body care product- the shower gels from
Original Source. I picked this up on offer, expecting it to be nothing too much
more than average but it was far better….

Bathtime Review: Shea Butter by Body Shop
Hey,
So today I decided that it was time for another of my bathtime
reviews. I haven’t done one of these in a while so I hope you’ll all enjoy it
and remember to leave your recommendations down below.
So today I will be reviewing some Shea Butter scented
products from the Body Shop. Shea butter is made from nuts, and has a sweet
nutty scent. I find the fragrance really inoffensive and soothing, so is great
for a bath. It’s not overpowering or in your face, so I think this range is one
a lot of people would like.

Nail Polsih Review: The Perfect Nude 'Lychee'
For a long time now, I’ve been on the search for the perfect
nude manicure. Painting my nails is one of the things I love to do, but when I’m
not feeling the bright bold shade- then I need something simpler.
So after
trying out a few different shades and brands, I came across a wonderful shade
from BarryM. I know I talk about these polishes loads, which was why I wanted
to try out some different brands before I tried this one, but there really is
no good alternative for the same price.
The shade is ‘Lychee’ fromBarry M’s Gelly Hi Shine range. The colour really compliments my skin tone, and
isn’t too pinky or yellows. It’s the perfect balance. I’ve worn this polish a
few times now and I just keep coming back wanting more.
I feel like my hands
look prettier with this on and the fact its nude means I don’t have to worn
about clashing colours. Furthermore, as well as this lasting all week without
chips, I don’t even have to change it
because it will always match and blend into any look. I love this for day wear,
night wear and I think it’s a great substitute for a coloured shade.
The polish is a bargain at just £3.99- how I love Barry M’s
prices- and there’s is no need for an additional topcoat or base. This
formulation is thick, I apply two coats, and an all-in-one.
So, what nail polish shades are you loving at the moment? What
brand keeps you addictively buying new shade? I’d love to know in the comments!
I’ll see you all on Sunday, have a lovely day,

Review: Sexy Mother Pucker Gloss Sticks
So today I thought I would talk to you all about one of my
favourite discoveries of 2014 and a product I am seriously obsessed with- the
Sexy Mother Pucker Gloss Sticks from Soap&Glory. Although the name is
somewhat unnecessary, these lip products are the best if you are looking for a
new lip gloss that is easy to apply, comes in a range of colours and is NOT
sticky!
I love lip glosses and I think on some people they just look
amazing. However, when I attempted to try the look, I ended up with dry lips
and hair stuck on my lip gloss. That was until I tried this.
The Sexy Mother Pucker Gloss Sticks were I product that I
discovered via Youtube, they were raved about for a while and had lots of good
reviews. The shade ‘Nudist’ was the one that most bloggers and Yotubers seemed
to favourites, so it was the one I first bought and is probably still my
favourite nude lip to where now. The Gloss Sticks come in a crayon form and are
very moisturising on the lips. The nib of the crayon makes them simple to apply
and the fact you can just roll it up means that the product lasts ages too.
I was so in love with my one Gloss Stick that I actually
asked, and received, the Sexy Mother Pucker Gloss Stick Set. This was a tin
with three full size products in it, the shades ‘Bashfull’, ‘Raplumsel’ and
‘Fushia-ristic’. I think this was such a great gift for a makeup lover, so I’ll
definitely be looking out for similar ones next year!
‘Nudist’ is the perfect nude lip. With undertones of brown,
the lip gloss adds a sheer your lips but better colour; this means that it is
easy to wear and great for natural looks. I would also recommend it for school
or beginners in make up!
‘Bashfull’ is a more pink toned shade but is still similar
to ‘Nudist’. I think it’s great if you want something a little more on your lips,
but don’t want to fuss with a bold colour to control.
‘Fushia-ristic’ is a shade that when you first look at it
may appear terrifying. The neon orange bullet is definitely menacing but when
it’s on the lips, the colour is a lovely peach. It’s slightly orange toned but
still looks great natural eyeshadow and lots of mascara.
Lastly is ‘Raplumsel’, which is probably my second to ‘Nudist’.
I love a berry lip, but sometimes I find I don’t want a dark in-your-face
shade, so this sheer lip is a lot more practical. I find it adds some warmth to
a makeup look and is a lovely colour especially for winter.
I really do love these products and would recommend them
100%. I hope you enjoyed this, as I personally like product reviews and find
them so helpful. I hate it when I buy a new product and it turns out to be
rubbish, that’s £6.99 down the drain! I hope you all have a lovely Wednesday,

My Bathtime Review // Honeymania from The Body Shop
Hey,
So, after reviewing 2014 on my blog, I’ve decided that when
I do reviews on bath and body products, such as my Body Shop and LUSH bathbomb
posts, I will put them into a series called ‘My Bathtime Review’. In this
series, I will be showing a range of items, from different brands and price brackets,
and will be telling you my honest thoughts on them. I hope putting them in a
series will make my reviews more clear and easy for you and the series will
give you something to look forward to.
So today I will reviewing three products from The Body Shop’s
Honeymania range. I recently received these as a Christmas gift and ever since
I have loved them. Before I had mainly been addicted to the Coconut range and hadn’t
tried any other scents, so when I tried this super fresh scent I was in love.
Honeymania is made from the sugary sweetness of honey and is
such a lovely range; I would say the honey flavour would work in any season- especially
spring and summer. I have been testing out the body butter, scrub and bubble
bath melt. The products are really fragrant and when you use them they really
do give you their scent.
I have tried the body scrubs from The Body Shop before and I
have enjoyed them but general found them a little harsh. However, the
Honeymania sugar scrub has a different texture altogether and softer then
before. I use this when I’m having a bath and it helps to keep your skin soft.
The second product I’ve used is the bubble bath melt. I did
not know that this product even existed because it is currently only available
in the Honeymania range, and I’m so overjoyed that I found it. It works like a
bubble bath and, if you add a little amount to your bath’s running water, it
will make so many fragrant bubbles. I also think it makes your bath water
scented and I would say works as an equivalent to a LUSH bathbomb.
The third product is the body butter. I’ve tried a few of
these before and they simply are my favourite body lotion available. Soft and moistening,
the body butter works to make your skin soft and smooth. Mostly I use it when I
get out the bath on slightly damp skin, but you could use it in a variety of
ways. I think The Body Shop Body Butters are The Body Shop’s most popular and
well-loved item and there definitely is a reason for that!
So overall I would really recommend this range and it is now
my favourite one that The Body Shop have to offer! I hope you enjoyed this view
and that you are maybe inspired to try these products too. Remember to check
out my link below and that you can ask me anything-related questions here for
my Q&A. I hope you’ve had an amazing first week of 2015,

Bathtime Review- LUSH Gold FUN | Blogmas Day 5
Hey,
So recently I made the brave decision to battle the crowds
in LUSH in order to treat myself to a pamper product. I had a great time
smelling all the different Christmas bits, and in the end I went for a product
I’ve never tried before- FUN.
FUN is basically an all-round product that works as a soap,
shampoo and bubble bath. It’s a little bit more pricy than other lush products,
but you only use a little amount at a time, so lasts for a lot more baths.
The FUN I have is in the gold scent, which smells so much
like toffee! The FUN is a golden colour and has flecks of golden glitter in it.
Another thing about fun is that it is mouldable so you can
change its shape. It’s only a bit of fun but I like having something to do
while my bath water is running.
If you want to use it as a bubble bath, like I did, just
crumble a small amount under the running tap. This makes your bath smell so nice because the
scent of the FUN spreads in your water. The strength of the colour depends on
how much of your FUN you use in your bath; for me this was not a problem as I
only used a small bit, so my bath did not turn too yellowy.
I love the smell of this product so much and I love the fact
that it is reusable! It’s £5 and has been brought out especially for Christmas
this year. I have only used it once so far but am excited for using it now its
winter!
I hope you liked this review, I’d love to hear your comments
on this product or any other bath-time product because in winter I have baths
soooo often. I hope you all are having a festive Friday,

All About That Base Makeup | Blogmas Day 2
Hey,
Happy Blogmas day 2 everyone! So today I’m going to be doing a grouped review of some
foundations/ base makeup products. I am rating four different bases, which I
have tested over a few months. I hope you enjoy the post and let me know if you’ve
tried any of these!
So the first one is the ‘Dream Pure BB Cream’ from Maybelline.
This product is meant to be a lighter weight base, a good choice for day-to-day
wear and those warmer days. I bought this product for summer this year but I wasn’t
convinced. The first thing I found was that the BB crème’s colour range was
rubbish. If I remember rightly, there were only two colour choices- which is
obviously disappointing because the shade never quite suits your skin. I also
found that the BB crème smelt odd, and wasn’t a nice consistency to put on your
face. Although the coverage is thinner, I would prefer to wear just concealer
than this. Great price (£6.99) but sub-standard product. I give it just 6/10.
The next product is Rimmel London’s ‘Wake Me Up’ foundation.
I bought this recently because of the good reviews this product always seems to
get online. And, I was impressed! I learnt, very quickly, that with this
product- and many other foundation and bases- that a little goes a long way.
The Wake Me Up foundation has a glow-y look, and if you’re looking for a matte
product- this is NOT for you. There are quite a lot of shade choices, which is
great, and it is still very affordable. I love this product at the moment, so
it deserves a 9/10.
The third product is the Maybelline ‘Dream Matte Mousse’.
This product is special to me because it was one of the very first makeup items
I had. The mouse is a thick formation that can be used as an all over the face
product or to target areas like a concealer. If I used this now, I would
probably not like it because the consistency is quite odd. I think this is
great for beginners because it’s so easy to use. It can be applied with hands
or with a brush, and comes with a HUGE amount of shade choices. It is again
quite cheap(£7.69), so for beginners I give this a 7/10.
The last product is the Collection ‘Lasting Perfection’
foundation. I think I forgot about how much I like this product. It includes a
SPF and is such a nice consistency. This is smooth, and again a small amount
goes a long way. It is a matte base, and is great for any makeup user. I would recommend
this for all year wear because you can layer it up of just use a small amount.
There are six shades, but the colour range isn’t that great. The best thing
about this is the price as it’s just £5.99! So I give this a 9/10.
So that’s all the products today! These are just my
opinions, so please remember these products may work differently for you,
especially if you have a different skin type. I hope you liked them, and please
let me know what your favourite bases are! I hope you have an amazing day,

Cinders Bath Bomb | Lush Reviews
Hey,
So this is another of my Lush bath bomb reviews. This time I
went in and the store had all the new items in, however I could not let myself
buy Christmassy things- so I bought Cinders, a fireworks night themed bath
bomb.
The first thing I loved about this is the smell. Now
autumn/winter has hit, I no longer want sweet scents or fresh fragrances, but a
warmer deeper smell. This is hat Cinders gives you. Made with popping candy, cinnamon
leaf oil and almond oil, as well as orange, the scent isn’t too overpowering
but works a treat.
The bath bomb is smaller than the large bat bomb, so is just
£2.50. When dropped into the bath it fizzes and foams, distributing colour into
the water. The pigment of the colour is great, but the fact its yellow really isn’t.
I just feel like it’s a bit like sitting in wee!
Apart from that, it’s a lovely bath bomb and is great for
cooler, darker nights. Have you tried Cinders? Let me know what you thought of
it, and any other festive lush bath bombs that you love,

REVIEW- Honey Bee, Lush Bath Ballistic
So this post is going to be a review of an item from lush. I’ve
only ever tried one other item from Lush (see review: http://mydaisychaincloset.blogspot.co.uk/2014/04/dragons-egg-lush-bath-bomb-review.html
), so I was excited to try a new ‘bath ballistic’.
I was shopping with a friend one day, and we decided to pop
into the shop, taking time to smell each bath bomb. I liked a few but wasn’t 100%
grasped by them, however when my nose smelt the sweet scent of the ‘Honey Bee’
ballistic, I knew it was the one for me.
It smelt so sweet and sugary, and the honey aroma was so
tempting. I love the smell of honey, and I found it strong but not
overpowering.
I kept the bath bomb for a special occasion, after a week
long camp, and was so thrilled about using it. I ran a warm bubble bath and
took the yellow sun from its wrapper. Taking one last deep smell of it, I
placed the bath ballistic into the water. It fizzed up and down in the water,
releasing a strong yellow colour. The smell was fragrant and the colour vivid.
I thought a yellow bath might feel a little like I’d weed in the bath water,
but the yellow was too intense and I enjoyed it.
I would definatly recommend the ‘Honey Bee Bath Ballistic’
for anyone who likes sweet scents and a simple but effective bath bomb. Great
for those who like a mixture of scents, or as a gift- as it is not too
overpowering and is likable. It one of the larger bath bombs that Lush makes,
and is only £3.25, so great for treating yourself to a pamper session. Buy
online? https://www.lush.co.uk/products/honey-bee
Hope you liked this short and sweet post,
