June Favourites
Hey everyone. So I know that I generally only do seasonal ‘favourites’
posts, but this month I seem to have gathered a small handful of things that I
wanted to chat about. From food to makeup, this combination of bits and bobs
have been what I’ve loved this June.

Spring Favourites | Fashion, Skincare and Lifestyle
Hey,
So we’re mid spring and I decided that I wanted to share with you what I’ve been loving for the last few months. I didn’t want to make this post too crazy long, so here are my top pics for you all to enjoy.

January Favourites
Hey,
So the month of January is coming to an end and, as I haven’t
done one in a while, I decided to do a monthly favourites. I’m considering
making seasonal favourites instead of monthly posts because I don’t normally
have a completely new set of things to talk about every month, please tell me what you think about this in the
comments.
So January has been a pretty good start to 2015 I think. I haven’t
done too many big exciting things, but I’ve had a lot of nice friend and family
time. It has been a great month for new things and I’ve had a lot of products I
received for Christmas that I’ve been testing out.
So the first product is one I mentioned in one of my posts this month. The Body Shop Honeymania Bubble Bath Melt is a lovely bath product. This
bubble bath is scented with the beautiful sweet fragrance of honey, but it is
also great at making bubbles in the bath. I feel like the product feels quite
natural in the bath and also more grown up than a lot of other bubble baths.
My second favourite is the Tangle Teezer. I have crazy thick
curly hair and I find brushing my hair not only a pain but a frizz-making
process. I’d seen so much hype about the Tangle Teezer before but I just thought
it was like a horse brush!! However it is NOT. I love this brush. It is
slightly pricier than your average hairbrush but the tiny blades of the brush
smooth and glide through wonderfully.
Thirdly is a product I have talked about a bit before. I
love the Body Shop Lip butters and I got loads of new flavours for Christmas,
which means I was introduced to the Shea butter one. It’s so moisturising and
soft on the lips, and tastes great. I actually prefer this to my coconut one
and I’m sure I’ll be loving it for a lot longer.
Next is another product I’ve already mentioned in blog posts
this month which is my Soap&Glory Sexy Mother Pucker Gloss Stick in the
shade Replumzel. It’s a lovely glossy dark berry shade, but as it is sheer it
works greats if you want a subtle look. For more details check out this post
where I reviewed all of the shades I have!
Now my fifth product is one that I’m not sure I have spoken
about much before. I went through a stage where I was obsessed with the
Collection Lasting Perfection concealer, but lately I’ve found it doesn’t match
my skin colour too well and is a bit pink-y. Therefore, this month I’ve
switched it up with the Wake Me Up concealer from Rimmel. It’s a well-loved
product on blogs and Youtube and has been for a while, but for me I’ve only
just started getting into it. It’s one of my lesser coverage concealers and I’m
loving it for the season at the moment. I use it under my eyes and on
spots/blemishes, so for me it works for all areas. However, it is quite dewy
and shiny so it may not be everyone’s up of tea.
Another makeup item for number six of my favourites, and it
is one that I’ve used most days of this month. The MUA white eyeliner is one
that I used on the waterline of my eyes to open them up. I love this technique at
the moment and I think I’ll do a more in-depth post on my current eye look in
February.
My seventh favourite is my diary ad diary writing. I just
find it so therapeutic to write down the day’s events, planning out my month
and reviewing the last days. My diary is also my current obsession because it
is simple but beautiful- with tabs and weekly+monthly pages! It's from Paperchase and is still available, if you were wondering!
My eighth favourite of January is my phone case. I have an
iphone4 and because of the newer iphones, finding cute and good, long-lasting phone
cases is so hard. I love having one phone case that last for ages, and my last
one was from Urban Outfitters and lasted a year. However by December it was
being held together with tape, so I was so pleased when I received this one
from Joules as a Christmas present. It’s totally me, as I love ALL things
floral, and the case is make of a really good quality plastic.
If you haven’t already read my post that was all about my Chelsea
boots, then check it out here, because my Chelsea boots are another of my
favourites. I have been wearing these non-stop and they are in every one of my
winter outfits. I can dress them up or down, wear them for a walk or shopping,
I just love them! Furthermore, because I have been wearing them so much they’ve
become so comfortable and suited to the shape of my foot- so now they’re like
wearing a pair of slippers.
And finally, my final favourite is a food favourite. For the
last few months, my family and I have been eating a little better and I have
been trying to eat more fruit and incorporate more foods that are good for my
body. One of my absolute favourite meals is my weekday breakfast, where I eat
natural yogurt, walnuts and these amazing apricots. I’ve never really been a
huge fan of apricots before but these ones from the Waitrose organic range are
unlike any others. They are dried apricots and have similar nutritional values
as other apricots, but they are a dark colour and are so juicy. If you’re in the
UK, CHECK THESE OUT- you never know you may become as obsessed as I am!
So that’s all of the products I have been loving so far in
2015! I think there is a good mixture of items this month but if you have any
monthly recommendations or just something you’ve been loving, please let me
know in the comments. I hope you’ve had a wonderful day,

September Favourites
Hey,
So I now this post is going to be a little late, but as we’re
still only in our first week of October, I decided I’d still put up my
September favourites. This post will only be a short one because there aren’t that
many new favourite things this month- but there are also some products which I’ve
been adoring.
First are two necklaces that I received for my birthday,
that I forgot to put in My birthday haul, but I have been loving. I’ve been
getting into accessories now autumn is coming, and I’ve always wanted some
pretty dainty necklaces like these. The silver triangle necklace is quite
short, but works well with a simple or complicated outfit, the other is a
gorgeous gold wishbone necklace which I think is so cute and effective. They are
both really affordable and are from ASOS.
Triangle necklace
Wishbone necklace
The neck item of my September favourites is actually a lip
balm. I’ve written about a few different lip balms recently (like my liploving post), but this one is defiantly the best. I bought this for the back
to school season, but this balm has been moved between me school bag and make
up drawers practically every day. Nivea is a great lip balm brand, and this is
just the original ‘essential care’ version. I bought the stick version, and am
so glad I did, as I can put it on quickly and anywhere- not having to worry
about dirty fingers. My only problem is that recently a snapped the stick… so I
guess it’s time to repurchase.
The next product is another birthday present, but this time
it’s my mascara from Benefit. The ‘They’re real’ mascara really is the best
mascara I’ve ever used. It adds length, volume and definition, coating each
lash for a bold look. Build it up, dress
it down, this mascara works for any occasion. My favourite thing about it is
the wand though, I love the end of the tip as it is great for separating top
and bottom lashes.
They're Real mascara
This product is one I never expected to see in a favourites
post. ‘Baby Lips’ had a really hype earlier this year, and when I bought one
for myself- I hated it. However, now I have been loving it. I don’t know what
has changed, but when I picked it up earlier this month it just worked for me.
I love to use this as an everyday lip for school, as it is sheer but adds a
tiny tint of colour. I have the shade ‘Peach Kiss’ and would recommend it for a
natural look.
So the fifth favourite is again a birthday present. This Scottie
fog block calendar is literally my favourite room accessory at the moment. I
get so excited when I get to change it every morning, and have noticed how I am
now aware of the data- which is so useful at school! I think you can get this
sort of thing anywhere and in so many different styles, but mine is defiantly
the best one I’ve seen.
The penultimate item is one I featured earlier this month in
my *bmmdi* post. Ever since I’ve used it, I’ve noticed such a difference in the
removing of makeup. The Garnier Micellar cleansing water is amazing for taking
off makeup and cleaning my skin. It’s a cheap alternative to some of the top
end makeup removers, and is available in so many shops and supermarkets.
So my last favourite is my Frizz Ease Dream curls shampoo
and conditioner. I reviewed these here but they still impress me after every
wash. Totally recommend.
Activity of the month: Cooking. I baked some marble cupcakes
this month and there were yummy, really reminded me how much I love to bake.
Aim for October: Get back into skincare.
So that’s all for this post, I added a new aim section so
you can know what I’m going to try and improve. Next months in skincare because
since we went back to school, I’ve become so lazy when it comes to it so that’s
my target! I hope you all had an amazing September and that your Octobers are
all magical,

August Favourites
So this post is going to be my august favourites. August was
such a big months for me; I did so much and had such a great summer. These are
just a few products that I loved.
So first is my Ultimelt. I bought this to really give me a
push into doing skincare and I loved this product. The Ultimelt hot cloth
cleanser from Soap&Glory, is such a luxurious item and feels like it’s high
end, even though it’s still a drugstore price. It’s £10, but there are always a
lot of Soap&Glory offers on in boots so you can easily get it cheaper.
Link: http://www.boots.com/en/Soap-Glory%E2%84%A2-The-Ultimelt%E2%84%A2-Deep-Purifying-Hot-Cloth-Cleanser_1364162/
The next item is the new concealer I bought. After a
slightly disappointing one from Rimmel, I was keen to find one that would be
good. I looked online and decided there were two I wanted to give a go: the
Rimmel wake me up concealer and the Collection lasting perfection concealer. In
the end I bought the collection on and I really like it. It gives good coverage
and, in the summer, it gives me all I need on my skin. Again it’s so cheap as
it’s from the drugstore, and comes in a few shades. It’s £4.19, http://www.boots.com/en/Collection-Lasting-Perfection-Concealer_1436032/
The third product is a nail polish. The summer offered me a
chance to try out a few new brands and colours, and I really loved this. The
trend of white nail polish never appealed to me, but one day I was in boots and
I decided to give it a go. And I love it. It looks so grown up and stylish, as
well as the fact that it matches everything. I love it for nights out and in
the day, and I will definatly be wearing it over the end of summer and
beginning of autumn. The brand I used was the Rimmel Rita Ora 60 second polish.
One thing I would say is that it is quick but it needs at least 2 coats. It’s
also very cheap at just £3.69. Link: http://www.boots.com/en/Rimmel-60-Seconds-Rita-Ora-Nail-Polish_1450794/
A fashion favourite for me over the summer has been my denim
jacket. For those colder evenings or chilly days, my denim jacket has been
perfect. It matches my style and goes well with everything. Mine is a handy
down, but I would defiantly recommend investing on one is you feel you are
missing a layer. They are available in so many places and at many different
prices.
A song I have been loving is Stolen Dance by Milky Chance. I
don’t know why I like this, it isn’t my normal music taste but it makes me feel
summery. This has been one of the songs that made my 2014 summer playlist, I
would defiantly recommend giving it a listen to.
Another favourite of mine is peanut M&Ms. I recently
went to London and re-discovered my addiction to these. I don’t really like peanuts
or peanut butter but these are AMAZING! You can find them in normal
supermarkets and I think they are quite cheap, so if you have a sweet tooth you
might love these too!
The next thing I’ve loved is a hairstyle. I have always
liked plaits but this month I seem to have worn them more. I learnt how to do a
Dutch plait this month, and also mastered a French plait. I’ve worn fishtail
plaits, and normal braids, and have just enjoyed having my hair out of my face
but not up in a pony or pigtails.
Activity of the month: Camping. This month I went on two
camping events. A four day family camp in Brixham, see travel diary: http://mydaisychaincloset.blogspot.co.uk/2014/08/my-travel-diary-brixham-devon.html
, and a weeklong guide camp. I would defiantly recommend camping if you’ve
never been before, it’s great fun, a little messy but a real laugh.
The final favourite for me is my photo editing. Hopefully you've noticed that my title images, for my posts, have changed and I made them look a little bit more professional and interesting- I'd love to hear what you think so please let me know and compliments or criticisms.
So that’s all, I hope you enjoyed this and I’d love to know
what your favourites have been, please comment down below. I hope you’re all
enjoying back to school, have a great day,

July Favourites
So it’s the end of July, can you
believe it’s only 5 months to Christmas? So this month has been fab for me,
there have been so many amazing memories and wonderful days out. I got to go to
Italy for a week with all my friends, to have an incredible week volunteering
and to have so many extraordinary days with my friends and family.
It’s been a while since I did a
‘monthly favourites’ post; I thought I would do one for this summery month.
These products are just a few of the products I have been testing and using,
and thoroughly enjoying.
First of my favourites are my
white peacocks ‘converse’ copies. I wear these all the time; they have defiantly
become my most worn summer shoes. They are practical, comfortable, match with
everything and make me feel so confident in my outfit. I find they really add a
touch to an outfit, and the white colour makes it feel more summery. I like to
match these low-tops with either hidden black trainer socks or white frill
socks (Primark as normal). These shoes
were a bargain as well, at just £10 from http://www.peacocks.co.uk/lds-shoe-canvas-lc-up-rub-toe-white.html
. They’re great if you really want a pair of white converse but can’t afford
the crazy price tag.
The next is sort of linked by the
last, by feet. I have always loved the feature of anklets but have never been
confident in wearing them. I have quite thick ankles, so I find the look of
friendship bracelet/ thread bracelets really don’t suit me. I have been
enjoying wearing this golden leaf anklet from Primark, especially on sunny days
and on holiday. I don’t like to keep it constantly on, but is a great way to
add something to a dull look. I fell in love with this particular anklet when I
saw it, and is the only one I wear from the three pack. I think the pack was
about £2.50- so it was great for experimenting with.
So my third favourite is my
sunflower skirt. I LOVE THIS SKIRT. It is great for summer as it is so bright
and interesting, and can be worn so easily. With white converse, a black crop
top and my hair down- an outfit is made. When I wear this I feel confident and
happy that I look so bright, the skater style is also quite flattering. I
bought this for £15 from Misguided, but it is currently available for just over
£7 in the sale. Link- http://www.missguided.co.uk/catalog/product/view/_ignore_category/1/id/113238/
.
So as you also saw in my summer
haul, this year I bought myself new sunglasses. These cat-eye like sunglasses
are now one of my favourite accessories and are an essential to a summer
outfit. I wore these on holiday, but also in day to day life. In the past I
would always buy cheap basic sunglasses, but I would defiantly recommend having
a slightly more expensive pair which really suit you. Mine are from Accessorize and were just £14. Sadly, these are
now out of stock on the website but I would defiantly recommend checking out
Accessorize for sunglasses!
Next is a nail polish that I
bought and fell in love with this summer. Lately, on my nails, I have been
enjoying a mix of pastel and bright colours, but nothing too neon or in your
face. This is a beautiful lilac/ purple shade that I wore and loved. The shade ‘prickly
pear’ from Barry M’s ‘Gelly’ range is the polish, and I have been impressed
with both the colour and consistency. I wore this for a whole week with only a
few chips- this was without a topcoat/ basecoat. I really would recommend purple
nails as it is girly, bright but matches well with many outfits. The ‘Gelly’
range is currently my favourite nail polish brand because at just £3.99, the
thickness and colour range is marvellous. To buy them go to- http://www.barrym.com/products/nails/effects/gelly-nail-effects.html!
Following that is a skincare
item. This scrub is a product I’ve been using for the last few months and am
only just coming to finish it. The simple ‘kind to skin, facial scrub’ is a
product you are meant to use 2 times a week. It is simple to use, just message
in and wipe off with warm water. You only need a small amount each time and
then the small beads in the paste will exfoliate your skin. Priced at just
£3.29, the product is so cheap but works so well. Buy at boots- http://www.boots.com/en/Simple-Kind-To-Skin-Smoothing-Facial-Scrub-75ml_4803/.
My seventh item is a general hair
accessory. Floral crowns this year are very in style and I love to wear them. I
have always adored wearing flowers in my hair, but the wired floral crowns are
so simple and yet look so good. I simple wear my hair natural and either place
them on or bobby pin them in. Also, they can really make an outfit, some days I
just wear a plain outfit and this accessory makes me look put together. They
are girly, easy and perfect for summer days and evenings. I have four crowns
now, a daisy one from Claire’s, an old pink one from Primark, a large sunflower
one from Primark and one from a market that my friend gave me-with pink and
white roses. Some are very pricy so I would defiantly recommend checking out
some cheaper stores!
On the subject of hair, now I
want to talk about a serum I’ve been using this month. This is the first serum
I have ever used, and I really like using this. The Aussie ‘duel personality’
serum targets hair to enhance curls and create a soft feel to the hair. This is
great for people with naturally curly hair, as I either use it on wet hair or
just if my hair is looking flat. Take two or three pumps and just scrunch it
through you curls. It is quite pricy at £5.19 for the small amount you get but
if you use it rarely it’s worth it. Buy at boots- http://www.boots.com/en/Aussie-Dual-Personality-Styling-Curl-Definition-Soft-Feel-Serum-75ml_52534/.
So if you’ve noticed, in the last
few make up themed posts I have talked a lot about the Maybelline ‘the falses,
volume express’ mascara in waterproof. At first, I didn’t think much about this
mascara, but after a few uses I really noticed the length and bold-ness that
this product gave my lashes. It’s an average price for a drugstore mascara at
£7.99 but does really make your lashes look very extravagant. Buy it here- http://www.boots.com/en/Maybelline-Falsies-Mascara-Waterproof-Black_1416719/.
The last item, another make up
item, is my ‘supercat’ liner from Soap&Glory. I have been using my Primark
£1.50 eyeliner for months, but I got bored of it and found myself noticing that
it didn’t last very long. My new choice was a felt tip eyeliner that was recommended
a lot on Youtube. I have really liked this long-lasting eyeliner, and have
found that the fine tip is easy to apply and create different looks with it. It
was £6, which is good for Soap&Glory make up. I know that I’ll be using
this a lot from now on, and enjoy experimenting with the makeup looks. Buy at- http://www.boots.com/en/Soap-Glory%C2%99-Supercat%C2%99-Eyeliner-Pen-Carbon-Black-Extreme_1450229/.
Hobby of the month-scrapbooking.
Lately I have been doing a scrapbook from my Italy holiday, and have enjoyed
putting all my photos together. I would defiantly recommend doing this for
summer days as it lets you rekindle memories and create a book of happiness.
And that’s all of my current
favourite items! What have you been loving? Can you recommend anything to me?
Let me know in the comments below,

My Monthly Favourites: April
Hey,
So I can’t believe it but April is now over and May had
begun, and I’ve decided to show you some of my monthly favourites. I know I
didn’t do one in March, and there aren’t that many but here are some products
and items I have loved this month!
The ‘Aussie miracle hair insurance, lightweight conditioning
spray’ is my first favourite. I have been using this spray to soften my hair
and it really works. My hair type never is completely soft, but using this
spray does make my hair feel noticeably smoother. I spray this on wet hair or
on more than one day old hair to give it a boost, and it just seems to work
nice. More information is here-http://www.aussiehair.com/uk/products/miracle-hair-insurance-leave-in-conditioner.php,
and the product is available from many UK
stores including Boots and Tesco.
The next favourite of mine is something a literally adore.
This is my favourite nail polish at the moment and it is the Barry M high shine
gelly nail polish in Blueberry. This colour is so beautiful for spring, being a
soft periwinkle to cornflower blue shade. It is an alternative to the
mainstream pastels colours but has a similar effect. To read my reviews on this
and other spring nail polishes click here- http://mydaisychaincloset.blogspot.co.uk/2014/04/spring-nail-polishes.html,
the link also has purchasing and price details.
Now is my next favourite which is the foundation I’ve been
using this month. My max factor foundation ran out earlier this year and I was
in need of a new foundation. I had no idea what type of product I wanted, so
decided on something cheap so that if I disliked it, it wouldn’t matter. As it
is I really like the ‘collection, lasting perfection ultimate wear foundation’
as it works really well with my skin. I think it looks natural and never looks
orange but I do notice that it has good coverage and does cover up blemishes
well. You can buy the product here- http://www.boots.com/en/Collection-Lasting-Perfection-Ultimate-Wear-Foundation-SPF-20_1436025/
for just £5.99.
My fourth favourite is another make up favourite. This
product is my ‘Kate’ lipstick in the shade 08. It is a ‘lasting finish’
lipstick and I really love it. I bought this in about February and now I use it
all the time. The shade is a your-lips-but-better colour, a rosy toned shade,
that looks natural but at the same time cute for spring. I really like this
lipstick because of the colour and its long lasting qualities that stays for a
reasonable time.
One of my fashion favourites this month has been pastel
colours. I don’t really follow trends, but I have really tried to add pastel
colours into my spring wardrobe. I think pastel colours are so beautiful and
add a lovely touch to make an outfit fresher. I like to incorporate pastel
colours with accessories like cardigans, nail polishes, bags and jewellery.
My next favourite is a classic thing for me. I have chosen
to put Disney movies on my favourite especially this month because I have
watched so many. I have loved Frozen since I got it as a gift for Easter, and
have already watched it at least twice since then. I have also enjoyed Tangled
(one of my most watched Disney movies because I just love the story so much)
and classics like Beauty and the Beast. I use Disney movies as a thing to calm
me down after a stressful and busy day, as well as a treat for weekday nights
when there isn’t enough time for a long movie. What I personally love to do is
have a bath and pamper night finished with a Disney movie before bed. I love
that I can feel like a child and am absorbed into the happy world of Disney, if
just for an evening.
My next monthly favourite is the Divergent series. As you
probably guessed from my many reviews, I love Divergent. This trilogy book
series by Veronica Roth is about a girl, called Beatrice having to decide where
she fit in society and the consequences for each choice she makes. It is a romantic
story filled with action, love, friendship, trust and family bonds, and is
unlike any other book I’ve read. It is filled with heart-warming experiences
that leave tales and morals deep in your mind. It is an amazing book, and the
film is also incredible. My book review is here: http://mydaisychaincloset.blogspot.co.uk/2014/04/book-review-divergent-by-veronica-roth.html
This month my favourite shops have been H&M and New
Look, because the stock has been affordable as well as on trend for spring. My
favourite buys from them are, from H&M, my collection of skater skirts that
I have been loving to wear so much and, from New Look, my dusty pink/ pastel
pink cami top which is so cute to style.
Favourite hobby: reading as I have been reading the
Divergent series. I think it’s really good to read as it improves your
literacy, takes you along on a brilliant story and gives you time to yourself,
which is very important in our busy lives.
Favourite food: Since lent is over I have been kind of
obsessed with chocolate. My favourite Easter treats being mini eggs and general
Easter eggs, yummy!
Favourite drink: Costa’s mocha coffee. I have always loved
this drink but now I can drink it again I am in love!
So that’s all for this month’s monthly favourites, what were
you April favourites? Let me know in the comments below. Hope your all having a
lovely spring,

My Monthly Favourites- February
So this is a first for me, I really enjoy Youtube videos
about monthly favourites by my favourite beauty vloggers and bloggers so I
thought I would do one myself. This post will involve a few of the things I
have really been enjoying, ranging from fashion to food. I hope that this may
inspire some of you to consider these products or that you’ll just enjoy what I
have to say!
Fashion-
So this month I’ve been doing a bit of products and really
preparing me for my spring style.
The first items I have loved are my H&M skater skirts. I
know I’ve missed the skater skirt trend a bit but my confidence was high enough
for me to purchase one and wear it out, so now there’s no going back. I really
like the H&M skater skirts in particular, as they’re flattering and comfy,
as well as being affordable to buy and coming in a wide range of prints and
colours. I wear mine all the time, normally with a pair of tights and my
converse. I have a plain black one as well as a black and floral skirt,
available here http://www.hm.com/gb/product/22907?article=22907-Em
for £9.99.
The next fashion favourite is frilled socks. I know that I
have been loving them for months now but they were practically the only socks I
wore and I’ve bought more. I have one pair of all berry red socks from Dorothy
Perkins and then loads of my £1.50 ones from Primark. I wear them with heels, Converse,
boots, flats… all the time. I love them because they can really finish an
outfit and warm up my feet at the same time!
Now a footwear fashion favourite for me is normally hard to
choose, as I wear a variety of shoes often. But in February I remember mainly
just wearing my Converse. I got my berry Converse for Christmas and I love
them! I wear them all the time and I love the aspect they give to a look. Dress
them up, dress them down, these shoes are comfy and cute whatever you’re doing.
They are available from Schuh (UK
shoe shop) here http://www.schuh.co.uk/converse/womens-burgundy-converse-all-star-oxford/1902723270/
My final fashion favourite is one that I only purchased late
in February but one that I have still become to love by the second. This small
brown satchel bag cost me only £8 from Primark, and is a good size. I love the
cut outs on the flap and details of this bag, including the clasp on the front.
I think it’s perfect for a day bag, big enough for a book and more. The satchel
is a sort of vintage style, a classic bag for any occasion.
My next section of monthly favourites is beauty, bath or
body.
The first item I have is my face mask. In winter I love to
have loads of baths and lately I have been using face masks very regularly. I
use them to calm myself, when I’m just about to have a bath and to clean and
clear my skin. I have been loving Superdrug’s own make’s hydrating mud mask, a
moisturising mask that is made with vitamin E. It is also scented with
blueberry. My face mask of choice is a product that comes in a tube, so that it
lasts longer and I can put on as much as I want and not waste anything. I
cannot find a link to this product, but it is available in Superdrug for £2.59,
a similar product is available here http://www.superdrug.com/superdrug-face-masks-new/superdrug-superberry-mud-mask/invt/718461&bklist
My next product to review is a make up product. Lately I
have been trying some new products and I have always loved a bit of eyeliner so
when I heard that Primark had bought out a make up range, called ‘P.S. Love’
and the products were decent, I wanted to try one. The black felt tip eye liner
was this product and cost only £1.50. I love this product because the thin tip
lets you create the look you want. The eyeliner lasts, the colour is easy to
build up, and it is easy to reapply. I prefer the thin liner as it just glides
on (and mistakes are easier to fix).
The next section is just some ‘other’ products that I wanted
to tell you about.
The first is headphones. I love music, it fills me with joy
and happiness, so I like to listen to it whenever I want, and not have to ruin
the days of other people. I use the small Skullcandy headphones, which have
budded ears for comfort and keeping in the sound. I have mine in blue, and they
are available here http://www.argos.co.uk/static/Product/partNumber/9384679.htm
for a very affordable £9.99. I have also lately been doing run practises,
because I am running 3 miles for Sports Relief, and I have found that the
earphones stay in my ears during this activity.
I love to burn candles; it is a new love of mine after the
Christmas candles. I have only just finished my ‘Christmas Morning’ candle, so
when I had to replace it I wanted an equally as brilliant scent. I choose to
purchase mine from Homesense (http://www.homesense.com/
), a brand that sells a variety of home products, although there are only a few
stores I know of. This was where I purchased my last candle, and there are
normally a variety of smells for good prices. This time I bought ‘Madagascan
Vanilla’ from the Copenhagen Candle Company, for £4.99. I love the scent of
vanilla and this lives up to that. It fills my room and gives any space a warm
lush feel. It is available here for £9 http://secretsales.com/details/Madagascan-vanilla-candle-jar-14oz-208192
.
So that’s all from the sections but here is just a list of
‘of the months’ that I thought you’d like to read/ know about.
Hobby of the month- painting.
I have got back into doing art as a choice and not just for
homework. Lately I have been painting a bit of Disney, watercolour paints are
my best!
Store of the month- Primark.
I have been really impressed with the spring stock in
Primark. I have purchased some clothes and accessories that I think are of the
same quality and standard of many other high street stores, at much more
affordable prices.
So that’s it! I hope you have enjoyed my views and thoughts
on my favourite products of February. Pleas leave links to your blogs below,
comment please and have a good day!
