Hey everyone. So today, I wanted to go back to one of my
favourite posts to read and write, one of my quote posts. Today’s quote
actually comes from somewhere very familiar, an iconic advert about a lonely
man living on the moon: the John Lewis advert. Although I thought the John
Lewis advert was good, it was actually the song ‘Half The World Away’ and it’s
lyrics that stayed with me.

She Believed She Could, So She Did
Sometimes, in this world, all you need is a little self-belief
and it can take you anywhere. In this day and age, I feel we are always so
quick to judge ourselves before we even give ourselves chance to try.

Not All Who Wander Are Lost And Why It's Become My Favourite Quote...
We have a choice whenever we make
a change or decision in our lives: we can take the quickest way or the scenic
route. In the end, we’ll always get to same destination but the journeys will
be different. For some people, achieving goals as quickly as possible is the main
intention of their lives. However when you wander through life, you stumble
across the little surprises in the everyday. You get to experience things along
the way that you’d never expected.

Quote Post: Kindness
Hey everyone. If I was to describe myself as a person, I
think one of my strongest attributes is that I’m a kind person. Obviously no
one can exude positivity 24/7, but I always try my best to have a
glass-half-full mind-set and look on the brighter side of events. One of my
favourite quotes is this one- throw kindness around like confetti. It’s a nice
idea, isn’t it, that kindness can be flung around like the flitting bits of
coloured paper seen at weddings and events, but also one I can relate too.

Quote Post: Being Yourself
Hey everyone. You are beautiful. Every person on this
amazing planet is beautiful and different and unique. It’s a fact that we get
reminded by but one that we often forget. In the moment when you lose a bit of
your confidence, lost on a confusing path, you forget too easily. Letting
others change how we are is something we never admit to, but it happens- maybe
a few too many times.

Positivty Post #4
Hey,
So I was reviewing some of my posts over the last few months
and I realised that I haven’t written a ‘Positivity Post’ in a long while. I
like these posts quite a lot because I feel like I can talk about my favourite
quotes and also be open with you. Today, I am focusing on this quote below.

Friendship | Blogmas Day 20
Hey,
So today I wanted to do one of my quote-y lifestyle posts
because I haven’t done one in ages and I have been feeling very reminiscent lately.
The importance of friendship in our lives is something as
valuable as diamond. For me, my friends are the ones that take me away from the
stresses of life and give me the opportunity to be the best me I can.
My best friend is the person I can always turn to, whether I’m
on top of the world or in a pool of my own tears. When we became friends we
never expected for such a friendship to begin but I am so thankful that it did.
When a person comes into your life and turns into your best friend, it is more
than a gift- it is a promise. So many times I’ve relied on her, and all I can
do is hope that my problems never hold her down.
Everyone has those people in their lives that don’t really
earn the title of a ture friend, but all that matters is that you have someone
or some people that do. In school life, and adult life I’m sure, friendship is
a complicated subject and one that can be beautiful or hurtful. If you are ever
in a situation where you believe that that person who you call ‘best friend’ doesn’t
deserve it, and is actually hurting you, I beg you to get out.
The quote is so true, a friend is the one that goes above
expectation to always help, listen and love you. Thankfully, I have never been
in a situation where my best friend has become someone who isn’t but I have had
the odd person in my life that I am happy to have removed. Happiness is a two
way gift and that is something you must always remember. You are valuable and warrant
better. There is always someone who
needs a friend, and especially in this merry time of year, I suggest that you
help them in their mission. You can never have too many friends after all.
So that’s all I wanted to say on this subject. These are my
own opinions obviously, and if you disagree then that’s fine but I just wanted
to make my point. I am the luckiest person to have the loyal friends I do, and
I know that. I hope you all have a lovely day,

Positivity Post #3
Hey everyone,
So I just wanted to say sorry I missed my upload on Sunday,
but I had actually just gotten back from a DofE walk and I was not in a state to
write.
Anyway, this post will be my third positivty post. Today’s
thoughts are based around this quote by Mother Theresa.
I think this quote is rather breathtaking really but so
true. I think we all have those days when you can feel pointless or that you
might never make your mark on the world, but this quote seems to eradicate all that.
What I love about
this is the idea that even you matter in the overall scene of life, whether you
believe it or not, I think it includes an important message.
You do matter. That is it. Be the best person you can, and
be yourself as much as you can, because that’s what is needed to complete the ‘ocean’.
There is no point growing to be a false person, someone who only laughs when
others laughs or only wears what others wear.
You are an individual. You are wanted for the individual you
are.
It can be hard to be your complete self, and it takes courage,
but that is defiantly what I aim to be. I aim to become that drop; it may make
a small splash- just affecting those you meet, or a bigger one- one that may
make a memorable difference. That doesn’t matter to me; I just want to be there
to experience it while it lasts.

and let me know any posts you would like to see in the future,

Positivity post #2
Hey,
So today is another of my lifestyle type posts, where I
share my mind with you in the form of a positivity post. I just want to share
some of my thoughts with you, so that maybe I can help you, inspire you or even
brighten your day.
This post is all about compliments. They are something that
anyone and everyone are happy to receive but often are unlikely to give out. I
love to give compliments, although even I struggle and it’s silly.
Source: http://www.pinterest.com/pin/549439223261947084/
This quote is so true to me, as if I get a compliment it
really makes me feel warm and good inside, and puts a smile on my face. A
compliment is something so simple, your mind normally thinks it anyone but you
often say it aloud.
The reason you don’t share it may be something due to
popularity differences, not wanting to be judged or simply taking the thought
for granted. You may think ‘her hair looks lovely today’ but you won’t tell her
because she has probably had loads of those compliments anyway. But what if she
hasn't had any.
Often this happens with friends. We see our friends as the
most beautiful people we know, we love them and see them in their best light.
Sadly this can mean that we forget to say ‘you look really nice today’ or ‘you
really are so smart’! I think this is really sad, as these are the people who
will really care what you think, and are the easiest people to tell.
Compliments are so beautiful because they let someone know
that they are acknowledged for something that they are, have or look. Although
they are normally associated with looks, compliments can be for so many other
things as well.
Everyone has bad days, they can feel insecure or be having a
low self-esteem day, and a compliment can give you the power to change this. You
can make someone feel happy and free of concern, be it only for a minute, an
hour or a day.
I encourage you to do what I am trying to. I am aiming to
give more compliments, and to let people know them too. I have to say it’s
harder than it sounds, as in this modern day the compliment is something that
is often rare! But I am doing my best to let those very close to only familiar
know, sharing a smile while I go.
Did you like this post? What do you think of compliments?
Please let me know in the comments bellow, much love,

Positivity post #1
Hey guys,
So this post isn't going to be about beauty or fashion, this
is going to be my first quote post, where I’m going to choose a post that may
link with my life or just something positive to put into my blog.
So this is this week’s quote and I think it is so true
because it is simply the way it is. We view this world through our own eyes,
everyone sees different moments differently and I think this is both a fact and
an opportunity. Now I’m not saying that everything in life is great and happy
but I think we should all try our best to make it more like this.
If you are faced with a horrible situation, like someone is
rude to you or argues with you, I think nothing can really change how you feel.
It is ok to feel sad and angry sometimes. The problem is when you let this ‘sometimes’
become all the time. You can’t always feel this way; it is too difficult and
makes life feel hellish. Even if you feel your everyday life is difficult and
pathetic, you can change this. The power to your own life lies in your hands,
and it is you’re responsibly to change the path of your life.
Imagine that you are having a bad day, its raining; you’ve
lost your keys, forgot your homework, have double maths in the afternoon and
yelled at someone you didn’t need to. Life feels like it sucks and all you want
to do is curl up and cry, now is your opportunity. This bad day is just one
filter of your day. Now try a different one, think of all the good that you
have taken for granted, like your friends hug, the food you have, the coat that
keeps you shielded from the weather, the supportive staff at school and the
fact there are people that ask if you’re ok. Here is your choice. You can be
moody and carry on the way you are or you can put a smile on your face and
brighten up your day. This may seem like it changes nothing, but when you add
up all the good days, life feels a lot better!!!
Just remember that no matter how bad your situation is,
there is always someone worse and you should be happy and not ungrateful for
the way your world is.
I am not perfect, I get moody, angry, sad and dull but I do
pride myself on seeing the next hour, or next day, as a new challenge to be
happy and good. I always try to forgive and forget and I am always trying to
make my world the way I want it to be, with more people being happy and less
being grumpy.
I hoped you like this positivity post, this was more of a don’t
be grumpy all the time one though! Please comment down below what you thought
and if you agreed with me. I hope you are all well and having good days,
Thanks,
