The Best Lush Bath Ever - Intergalactic Review

Getting back into things then. January was an okay month for me but I feel my blog suffered. I talked about this more in my recent JanuaryUpdate post, so today I’ll just jump right in into a good-old LUSH review.

One thing that I love to do is treat myself to a LUSH bath bomb, and after the normal walking into LUSH, sniffing everything and having a panic because I WANT THEM ALL, I decided to go for a bath bomb I’d been eyeing up for a while- the Intergalactic.

I’d heard some hype about this bath bomb, but not really heard much about what was so special about it… so I had to give it a go. To start with, I wasn’t all that sure if this bath bomb was a good idea, the smell of it wasn’t actually that pleasing. Don’t get me wrong, it was a nice smell- sort of minty, but not what I normally like. I prefer warmer vanillas or sweet honeys, nonetheless, I went for this blue bath bomb and waited to see what would be so exciting.

I always like to save my LUSH baths for a rainy day or a down evening, but after a week of this being on the side of my bathroom cabinet, I couldn’t resist it. So I used this in a warm bath and experience the BEST LUSH BATH BOMB I’VE EVER USED.

As I dropped this baby into the water, it began to spread a blue colour, and a small stripe of rainbow appeared on the bath bomb. After a couple of minutes, the blue because much darker and patches of rainbow colours were on the surface.

When I ended up getting in, there was a gorgeous cloud of white and coloured foam on top of the bath and under it was the most beautiful bath water. Sometimes I get grossed out by the yellow or pink bath waters, but this water was navy. However it was extra special because there were thousands of specs of glitter in it- not so that it felt sticky or uncomfortable, just so I felt like I was a mermaid- what more could you really ask of LUSH?

Just a warning, this is an example of a bath bomb where you have to go cleaning up afterwards (there was A LOT of gold glitter residue), however it was 100% worth it! I’d also say, as this was a sizable bath bomb, it may be a good idea to try and half it because I’m sure you’d get a great effect from that and then you’d get double the value for money.

So there it is, I have found my current favourite LUSH bath- but what is yours? I’d love to know your recommendations! I hope you are all having a lovely day, much love,

Find me on...
