Hey everyone. Somehow, miraculously, it is Christmas Eve and
I can’t quite believe it. The festive season is drawing to a close and it’s
nearly the big day. That warm Christmassy feeling is holding my heart and I can’t
quite well. But, for now, I thought I would share with you my five favourite
parts of Christmas- because it’s Christmas Eve and a Christmas blog post is
essential I think.

Sharing Feedback With Other Bloggers + Reflecting | Day 11: 12 Days Of Blogmas
So with near year a whisker away and this manic 12 days of
blogging nearly over, I have found myself pondering about my blog. As a
blogger, one of the hardest things is to keep going and to keep putting up
content you, and your readers love, so every few months, I like to take a step
back and reflect on what I’m doing.

The John Lewis Advert Quote That Resonated With Me | Day 10: 12 Days Of Blogmas
Hey everyone. So today, I wanted to go back to one of my
favourite posts to read and write, one of my quote posts. Today’s quote
actually comes from somewhere very familiar, an iconic advert about a lonely
man living on the moon: the John Lewis advert. Although I thought the John
Lewis advert was good, it was actually the song ‘Half The World Away’ and it’s
lyrics that stayed with me.

Party Season Makeup Look | Day 9: 12 Days Of Christmas
Hey everyone. So with only a handful of days until the big
day, Christmas day, and the season of parties, I thought that I would write up
a simple makeup look. It’s made of all drugstore products, a simple but pretty
look that anyone can create. With neutral eyes and a bold red lip, how could it
get more festive?

Let It Snow - Book Review | Day 8: 12 Days Of Blogmas
Hey everyone. With less than a week till Christmas, there
are only so many things you can do to get festive: stuff your face with festive
food, watch back to back Christmas movies or spend far too long Christmas
shopping. However, one thing you may not have thought of is a Christmas read. I
have been super busy lately, so I haven’t actually finished the whole of this
book but I thought I’d tell you about it, so you can give it a read (or start
to) this festive season.

Festive Outfits | Day 7: 12 Days Of Blogmas
Hey everyone. Today I decided that I would do a little
festive fashion post. At this time of year, when faced with your wardrobe each
morning, you have two choices- a, somehow find a super wintery fashionable
outfit, or b, go for a tacky yet cute Christmas look- aka the Christmas jumper
was born. I love Christmasy outfits- I love to wear them when I’m in a festive
mood, so here are some that I’m loving.

Which Vlogmas Videos You Should Be Watching | Day 6: 12 Days Of Blogmas
Hey everyone. Well, with SEVEN days left till Christmas, the
festive season is in full step. Along with busy shopping session, festive fun
and endless Christmas songs on the radio, the season also brings Vlogmas. As a
watcher of Youtube, I really like the Vlogmas season- getting a video every day
is such a treat- but with so many youtubers committing to it now, you can’t
watch them all. So here is a run-down to the ones I’m watching and why I like
them.

until now! Today, day 5, I am going to be showing you my festive room and how I’ve
made it look Christmassy!

Christmas Tag + Announcement! | 12 Days Of Blogmas
Hey everyone. So today I have an announcement. For the 12
days running up for Christmas, I will be putting up a blog post EVERY DAY. I
did Blogmas last year but life has been super busy this year and last year was
kinda stressful, so I decided I’d do the 12 days of Blogmas. Hopefully, these
posts will get you excited for Christmas and give you some ideas about festive
outfits, Christmas makeup and maybe some inspiration.

Snapshot Sunday: Mock Exams and Festive Fun
Hey everyone. So today sees the return of my Snapshot Sunday post as I update you on what’s been going on lately. This week has been year 11 mock week, and to be honest it’s been pretty hellish. The last few weeks have been split between working and revising, but now the end is here and I can go back to normal(ish) life. Also, happy December, because IT’S NEARLY CHRISTMAS!

Lookbook: The Autumn Winter Edit
Hey everyone. So I am currently facing the routine of year 11- revise, work, sleep, school, revise, work… However, today I am going to put up the post that has been literally a month in the making. As one of my most popular posts is my Spring Summer Lookbook, I thought I would create a little autumn winter edit. Today I’m going to share with you four of my favourite seasonal outfits.

Teen Girl's Gift Guide 2015
Hey everyone. So it’s that time again- bitter cold winter days and whispers of festive music fill the air… Christmas is on its way. Yes I know it’s still November but this week, for some reason, has been the week of the Christmas Gift Guides. I always love these posts and videos, so thought this year I would create a post of my own.

Two Years Blogging?!
Hey everyone. When I started year 11, I knew it was going to be extremely
busy but this week has been unlike anything else. It sadly means that I flew by
the 9th of November without a spare thought- even though it
celebrates my anniversary of this blog.
It is insane that it’s been two years that I’ve been blogging.
I love my blog so much and it’s such a lovely hobby and challenge that time
just seems to fly by. I don’t know how long I will blog until, it’s never
something I’ve really thought of or planned, so I take every post as it comes-
and I try to better myself every time. I have goals and plans, and I am so
proud of how far I’ve come too.
When I reflect on how far I’ve come, the thought that always
hits me is that if you’re considering it-so it. It doesn’t have to world-wide,
or even public. Don’t do it for other people but for you- its therapeutic and
fun!
My blog is one of my proudest achievements, as well as one
of my least-known attributes, however it is still amazingly special to me.
On this day each year, I like to review back on my blog but
also look at some of the statistics from now, so that I can look back in the
future. So here’s what happens:
206 blog posts
Readers from 10 different countries
7126 overall reads, I think this counts my own though
3316 views from the USA
21 book reviews
My most popular post is Holiday Lookbook | Spring Summer
So there’s this quick update post. If you are one of my
lovely readers, or have just come across this post, thank you- you’re amazing
and I’m so thankful that you’ve taken the time to read. I will be getting back
on track with blogging (hopefully) and a post should be up next week! Thanks,
have a wonderful weekend,

What I Think About The Rimmel Kate Lipsticks + Swatches
Hey everyone. Today I want to talk to you about my favourite
drugstore lipsticks, all from the amazing Kate range by Rimmel. There’s a range
of colours, swatches and of course my thoughts on them all.
The Rimmel lipsticks are mostly fab, but the best are definitely
found in the Kate Moss range. There is a great choice of shades, from nudes to
bolds, and they are completely affordable. The formulation is super creamy and
they also last a reasonably long time on the lips (depending on how bold).
There are three types of Kate Rimmel lippys- lasting finish
(black packaging), matte (red packaging) and nudes (nude packaging). The
lasting finish lipsticks have a complete range of shades, rosy nudes to
electric reds, the nudes is-no surprise- comprised of different nudes for
different skin tones and the mattes is four red/berry matte formulations.
However, all the lippys are just £5.49- HOW INSANE IS THAT!
For under £6, you can get pretty much any shade you want and
they’re such good quality!
I have three of the lipsticks from the ranges- two lasting
finishes, a your-lips-but-better pink and a rich berry, and I have also recently
picked up the cult-red in the matte range.
Let’s start with the nudey pink. The shade 08 is a lovely
soft pink shade. It’s so pretty and natural but adds a lovely pink touch. I
think this lipstick is great for beginners using lipsticks (it was one of my
first ones), and would look perfect with makeup looks that are either natural
or bold on the eyes.
Second is the other lasting finish lipstick which is a warm
berry. The shade is 03 and is a more purple-than-red burgundy. It’s so autumnal
and warm, yet the creamy consistency makes it easy to wear. I like this because
it’s a bit warmer than a lot of dark lippys.
The last is the famous, well loved, Rimmel 107. Not only is
this Zoella’s favourite lipstick but it is also an amazing drugstore dupe of a
lot of dark lipsticks. I picked this up, as there was such a hype around this,
and I wasn’t disappointed. At first, I wasn’t too keen on this. It’s hugely
similar to the 08 lasting finish, but is a slight tint redder. This one is
matte however, so does look different on.
Overall, these three lippys are the lipsticks I turn to so
much. At such an affordable price, how can you not? If you’ve never tried
these- go out and pick one! They’re such good value for money and there are so
many pretty shades.
So that is all from this little lipstick review- how you
tried any of these? Also, I have finally worked out how to do the comment
section thing- so please drop me a comment! Thanks so much for reading,

Last Minute Halloween Makeup That Can Work Whatever You're Dressing As
Normally I’m a rather organised person when it comes to
things like Halloween, but sometimes- like this year- it catches me out and I
have to do some last minute costume planning. The last thing I’ve needed to do
is to think about my makeup, so today I thought I’d show you a really quick,
simple makeup look that is so versatile and can work for lots of different
costumes- no matter what you’re dressing up as.

She Believed She Could, So She Did
Sometimes, in this world, all you need is a little self-belief
and it can take you anywhere. In this day and age, I feel we are always so
quick to judge ourselves before we even give ourselves chance to try.

Autumn walks and High Neck Tops
Recently, I had one of those days when I was in the house on
my own for a little too long. As the afternoon’s weather seemed quite good, I
decided to take a nice autumn walk. So, I went on a little explore, took some autumnal
photos and even a few outfit shots.

The Three Pairs Of Shoes That I'm Loving This Autumn
Hey everyone. I love outfits in autumn, the warm colours, comfy
clothes and lovely layering. For me, this means that the accessories become
really key. Whether it’s a statement scarf, bright bag or a dainty piece of jewellery,
from head to toe- these details finish a look. So today, I want to talk to you
about my three pairs of autumn shoes.

The Concealer That Everyone Loves, But Is Amazing
Hey everyone. Today I thought I’d do a little chatty review
on a product that I love and rely on so much, but not one I really talk about
very much. Concealer is a life saver, right? If you’re from the UK and watch/
read any blogs/ videos then you’ve probably heard of this concealer, but this
is why I think it’s great.

my favourite hair products- on a budget.

Wonder Book Review
Hey everyone. So it’s been another month, so that means it’s
time for another book review! This month I have been reading Wonder by RJ Palacio,
a children’s book written from the point of view of a boy called August. It is
basically all about him joining school and dealing with growing up. The only
difference is that August’s face is deformed. So it’s not the story you may
expect.

Flowers In The Bath?
Hey everyone. So regular readers will already be aware, but
I am a huge lover of baths. I bath all year round, but when it gets a little
colder and hits autumn/ winter it is bath season. I was also very lucky to receive
a few bathing bits for my birthday, which I have been trailing and tested. So
today I thought I let you know about a new set of products I’ve been really
liking: Heathcote & Ivory Bath Petals.

What I Have For Breakfast
Hey everyone. So today I thought I’d chat about something a
little different. Apart from the occasional food favourite, I don’t really
share much of what I eat here on my blog. However, as we are in the back to

school what I eat for breakfast post. Here are four of my favourite breakfasts
that are perfect for school, that are quick and easy and reasonable healthy!

Sunday Snapshot #1: Birthday
So I wanted to introduce something into my blogging mix. I
love a good old catch up post and I also love doing favourites. So I decdied to
start writing a ‘Sunday snapshot’ post every few weeks that basically updates
you on what I’ve been doing and loving lately. As this is the first post, I
thought it would be good as I’m reflecting on my post-birthday week. So I hope
you enjoy reading this and would love some feedback in the comments!

Five Top Tips For Fall Fashion
Hey everyone. So I’m very excited. Autumn is officially
here, I’ve seen my first auburn leaf and the weather has definitely transformed
to a colder temperature. I love autumn/winter (winter being the best season in
my opinion) so I was so excited for it to arrive. The season has changed and
with it our wardrobes will too, so here are my tips and essentials for autumn
fashion.

My Autumn Foundation
Hey everyone. If you’ve ever read one of my tutorials or
makeup bags, you’ll now I barely ever, if not never, wear foundation. For me, I
have quite decent skin so never felt I needed it. However, recently I walked
into Boots and just thought this product sounded this. So I bought it, tried it
out, and now that flawless skin is mine, is a tube.

What's Made My Autumn Wishlist
Hey everyone. So it's that time again- the season is
changing and I've started lusting after so many new things. Although my
well-love white tops of the summer are still hung in my wardrobe, I've started scanning
the shops for warm reds, burgundy and tartans. It's autumn, one of my favourite
season for fashion... So there are a lot of things on my wish list...

Not All Who Wander Are Lost And Why It's Become My Favourite Quote...
We have a choice whenever we make
a change or decision in our lives: we can take the quickest way or the scenic
route. In the end, we’ll always get to same destination but the journeys will
be different. For some people, achieving goals as quickly as possible is the main
intention of their lives. However when you wander through life, you stumble
across the little surprises in the everyday. You get to experience things along
the way that you’d never expected.
